One of the newest additions to the Dominican Associated Cultures is that of the Spanish Culture brought about by the Venezuelan and Cuban associations to and with Dominica. One thing that can come out from this is the mixture of music and musical talents that can be acquired. As seen here, the instruments being used is called a Cuatro which means Four. It is a Spanish instrument used by many Spanish nations which contains four strings. It is closely related to the box guitar but sounds totally different.
Here you will see some Dominicans using these instruments to play different folks sounds and even a song of Michael Jackson called the Earth Song. Take a look as these young individuals as they play so rhythmically to the tune of the original songs.
