Very First Labour Day Experience
First time ever Labour Day Parade experience in Brooklyn, New York City. It was indeed a great time to see all the different Caribbean Islanders come together in one area of celebration. One thing that stood out is that of finding other Dominicans in the area and rejoicing and also sharing stories and meals with each other. I must say it is indeed a very proud day, when in the United States, the Caribbean people represent strongly and are proud of where they come from.
